Description
Paste wax is an economical mould release formulated with hydrocarbon and microcrystalline waxes. Paste wax, or run in wax is designed as a general purpose mould release agent on fiberglass and metal molds and as a compatible prime coat for PVA coatings. Blended waxes are excellent for producing a good gloss with lustre. Paste waxes are however time consuming to apply and not generally temperature resistant. Liquid wax in solvent is typically more expensive but easier to apply.
