Description
Set of 8 Model Air colors in 17 ml. for the painting of Luftwaffe camouflage patterns developed for aircraft in maritime deployment, as well as for the colors used for any type of aircraft operating in the North African campaign and the Mediterranean zone starting in 1941.
RLM 65: Standard color for lower surface, for fighters from 1938 to the middle of 1941, and for rest of aircraft (bombers, reconnaissance, transport and maritime, etc.) from 1938 to 1945. RLM 72: Standard camouflage color for upper surfaces, combined with RLM 73. All types of seaplanes, (hidros, reconnaissance, attack, etc. ) from 1938 to 1945. RLM 73: Standard camouflage color for upper surfaces combined with RLM 72. All types of seaplanes, (hidros, reconnaissance, attack, etc. ) from 1938 to 1945. RLM 78: Standard lower surface color for all types of aircraft (fighters, bombers, reconnaissance, transport, etc.) deployed in desert and tropical terrain. From 1941 to 1943/44. RLM 79: Standard camouflage color for upper surfaces, used by itself or combined with RLM 80. For all kinds of aircraft (fighters, bombers, reconnaissance, transport, etc.) deployed in desert and tropical terrain. From 1941 to 1943/44. RLM 80: Camouflage color for upper surface, combined with RLM 79. For all kinds of aircraft (fighters, bombers, reconnaissance, transport, etc.) deployed in desert and tropical terrain. From 1941 to 1943/44. RLM 02: Interior cockpit color until the middle of 1941. Combined with RLM 71 used as upper surface camouflage color for fighters until 1941 and for mottled camouflage until 1945. RLM 66: Interior cockpit color employed from the middle of 1940 to 1945.
