Set of 8 Model Air colors in 17ml. developed for painting of all types of RAF aircraft with the color patterns “Tropical Land Scheme”, “Desert Scheme”, “Special Coastal Scheme”, etc. from June 1940 until the end of the War, in North Africa and the Mediterranean theatre.

Dark Earth (BS 450): Color upper surface at the beginning of the conflict and “Tropical Land Scheme”, “Desert Scheme”, combined with Dark Green, Middle Stone or Light Earth. From 1940 until end of war. Dark Green (BS 241): Color upper surface at the beginning of the conflict and scheme “Tropical Land Scheme”, combined with Dark Earth, Middle Stone or Light Earth. From June 1940 to end of 1941. Sky Blue (FS 35550): Color of lower surface at the beginning of the conflict June/July 1940 until the end of 1941, combined with Dark Earth and Middle Stone. Middle Stone (BS 362): Color for upper surface of “Tropical Land Scheme” and “Desert Scheme”, replacing Dark Green. From the beginning of 1941 until the end of the war. Sky Type S (BS 210): Color lower surface at the beginning of the conflict (June/July 1940) until the end of that year, as well as for special patterns for aircraft based on Malta. Dark Mediterranean Blue (FS 35050): Color for upper surface of scheme “Special Coastal” combined with Light Mediterranean Blue. For aircraft based on Malta for all kinds of special maritime operations. Light Mediterranean Blue (FS 35117): Color for upper surface of scheme “Special Coastal” combined with Dark Mediterranean Blue. For aircraft based on Malta for all kinds of special maritime operations. Also alternative lower section color Azure Blue. Azure Blue (FS 35231): Lower surface color of most aircraft of all types for North African and Mediterranean Theater of Operations starting at the end of 1940/beginning 1941 until the end of the war.
