2496 - Silicone Polyhedral Dice Molds x 6

On the good side, the dice that come out of these molds are nice and crisp with sharp edges and corners. The problem is that the way the molds are designed almost guarantee that you will ruin every single casting. The molds are pretty thin and squishy, and they have a lid that is very difficult to attach to the main body. If you pour the resin in with the lid off, you'll squeeze out half the resin when you try get the lid back on. If you pour with the lid on, you have to use a syringe to inject the resin through the single small hole, and there's nowhere for the air bubbles to escape to.

Either way, you land up with gaping holes on the top-most face, which is always the "1". I strongly suspect that even if you did manage to get a clean casting with no visible bubbles on the surface, the weight distribution of the dice would make it favour rolling 1.

I only made my first set of dice this past friday. The dice didnt come out too badly. It still has a lot of air bubbles in it but but with time and pratice a believe i will be able to make great dice with them.
